Does anyone have their tuning manual, and if so how useful have you found it? Wondering if there's much covering the 29mm smoothbores?

Just wondering if it's a good tuning reference, and how detailed. Does it list out riding tests for making adjustments, or more carb theory? It's not expensive so maybe i'll just buy it anyways. Not being able to thumb through it, I'm just wondering what I'm getting.

I will have to look at mine tonight but I think it has been valuable to me. I have not needed it for awhile fortunately.

Truthfully it's less then 20 pages of tuning info.
It has a small but VERY worthwhile troubleshooting guide.
The main part of the manual is the reference info and parts listings.

All told, if you need to tune your carbs, pay attention to what they are trying to tell you and order parts wisely, the book will get you a good running bike and save you some money and headaches.

You can't ask for more than that from a book.

JUST MAKE SURE EVERYTHING ELSE IS PERFECT WITH YOUR TUNEUP,
Or you will just be wasting your time & money

Thanks for the info. Sounds worth it. I'm battling charging issues now so I'm just thinking towards the future. Runs pretty good even with the charging issues. Just want to make sure it's running as good as it can.

Eh, the file on tuning in the filebase seems more useful. Wasn't much in there I didn't already know.
