Adjusting needle position on smoothbore 29's

How do you get to the needles on 29 smoothbores to adjust their position? Any tricks to doing this someone that's done it can pass on? Thanks

Pull the carb rack off the bike. Remove the tops, the screw and plate holding the actuator shaft, the 5 bolts on the shaft, and slide the shaft out. Pull the slide and armature out and separate the armature from the slide by removing the 2 small screws holding it to the slide body. Takes about an hour to R&R and be back running.
