1978 kz1000 LTD 26ss carbs Issues

Attached is a picture of the bike I purchased Its a 1978 Kz1000B LTD. I'm having carb issues and can't seem to figure out the adjustment for the Air/Fuel mixture screw. I have tried 1 1/2 turns and 2 1/2 turns. I have 26ss carbs and got these two setting I have already tried from other questions asked. another question I have is how much would this bike be worth by face value from the picture im just curious and is it a good KZ?

Welcome aboard; nice looking bike! It's hard to tell by the picture, but it appears not to have the air box or any air filtration on the carbs. If that is the case, trying to tune them is a waste of time until they have filtration. Ed

Yea It has no air box on it, it didn't have it when I bought it I figured that would be a problem. I will have to get me some air filter boots then try!
