Did you repair or replaced petcock?

Where did you get parts or petcock?
Different KZ1000 in 1980 had different petcocks, so I have to take apart mine tomorrow to see if its rubber disk has 4 or 5 holes.
I think police models have 4 holes, mine 5.

I bought it long time ago. But it seems i bought it all at once. I would think they could be found in numerous different places. I would try searching google or ebay or maybe even pingle's website, if you cannot find them anywhere else. Ive been really happy with mine. I have had to rebuild it once. Which brings me to another point i would like to bring up. The rebuild kits are kinda expensive because you cant buy just a single kit. I could only (at the time) find multi packs. I think they came with three per kit. they will flow alot of fuel. Ive never had any fuel problems, and iam runnning RS 36's.

According to K&L catalog 80 KZ1000 E2 shaft needs different repair kit.
I ordered some kit from Ebay for $15 shipped, hopefully it will work. I just need rubber disc with 5 holes in it.

Hi. I think I ordered this from Sirius Consolidated a few years back to rebuild the pet cock on my 78 KZ 1000. There is a few others listed as well. After Z1 Ent and Dennis Kirk, I try these guys. Good luck
