I know it's been done before and it may be a ridiculous question but can't you run different make and model carbs on different engines as long as it's appropriate? For example one 250cc twin to another 250cc twin

Reason being I have a 250cc twin that has no carbs. I'm thinking any carbs from a 250cc 2 cylinder should work. Or 2 carbs from a 500cc 4 cylinder

while a carb may not be necessarily a carb
at the end of the day a carb is a carb
and should work or at least try and do its job :silly: :side: :silly: :side:

That's what I figured. I mean I have 550 carbs for a 4 cylinder and a 250 2 cylinder. Why not use half the carbs and fire it up
