So after a few years of putting up with pods that I never was able to get the bike jetted properly for, I've just about got all the parts to return the bike to the stock airbox and filter. However, before I do this I need to undo what I did to the carbs which involved bumping up to a larger secondary main jet and shimming under the needle to raise it up a bit. Now, as I understand it, the bikes were jetted fairly lean from the factory to help with emissions. I was wondering if anyone would recommend going with a slightly larger secondary main (like one or two sizes above the stock 85) or should I just return it to stock configuration? I'd like to get the rejetting done before reinstalling the airbox since about the only good thing about the pods it has on it now is they make pulling the carbs off the bike a 2-3 minute job.
