Hi guys ,Recently swapped out my F/I for a set of B34 Mikuni carbs . The original f/I throttle cable is about 2 inches short. What substitute cable can I use? The carbs use a single pull type cable. Also carbs are off a 1984 GPZ 750 that are jetted for a KZ 1100. Thanks Jeff

Use one from an '81-4 KZ1100A.Just be careful with how the oil cooler lines run.You might have to tie them back/reroute them a little to keep them from hanging up the carbs. You REALLY don't want the carbs hanging up at half throttle. Also,if the cooler lines are old and brittle, look into having them repaired/replaced by a local hydraulic line/fitting shop. They are getting scarce, and the new OEM ones i got were $150 each. But I also got a cut set with the block fitting and cooler.(as spairs).I'm taking them down to a local hydro-power place to see if they can't use the fittings and replace the rubber.
