Anyone seen this jet in different sizes? Anywhere? was created by Austin440
The image below is the pilot jet off of my 1981 KZ440 LTD. I cannot find this anywhere online, and I need to go up a couple size because I'm running lean since I changed to pod filters. Is there an alternative that might work, maybe from the site listed below?

According to kawasaki.com, pilot jet #35, Part No. 92064-1001, is still "active," meaning it should be available at Kawasaki dealerships.

So given that they don't make this jet in different sizes, do I just play with the idle mixture screw instead of rejetting? I suppose that's an easier adjustment. Right now it is 2 1/4 turn out from seated as stated in the manual. Does screwing it out further pull more vacuum, and thus more gas through the pilot jet, or is it the reverse? Ultimately, I need to fix the lean idle condition on my bike.
Also, since the main jet feeds the pilot jet, will rejetting to a larger main jet increase the flow to the pilot, or will that not make a significant difference since the main jet is already larger than the pilot?
Right now I'm waiting on the main jets and needle jets to arrive in the mail.
