throttle mix screws stuck in limbo was created by danger_bandito
Someone sealed my throttle mix screws behind some strong-ass sealant, and thick metal caps on top of that. Until these caps come off, I cannot access the throttle mix screws. They're in there good, too. Any Ideas?

As much as I agree with the term "YOLO," I equally hate it.

One technique to remove an anti-tamper cap is to drill a hole barely through the center of the cap, without drilling into and damaging the underlying pilot screw.

Start the tip of an appropriately sized metal screw into the hole, until firmly inserted. Then grip the screw with pliers and pull out the cap.

Good Fortune! :)

Just cruisin by and seen this question.
Do not see a pic or know what type, model, size carb your taking about?
I see you live close to Washington DC.
Maybe Nobamas Green inititve coverts came out and infiltrated your garage, turned the screws all the way lean. plugged them so you could not mess with them. that will save the planet! Is your 2-cycle weed wacker missing also?
Just a thought?

Cv36 keihin carbs. Everything worked itself out though. I don't own any power tools, so I took a small picture nail and punched through the plugs, and worked them out with a tiny screwdriver.
