So I am trying to figure out a way to turn my Vaccum sucking petcock.
to a manual on and off one.
My Petcock just doesn't suck like it used to......
anyway anyone have a hint or idea of how to pull this off...

I would post a pic but they say that posting petcock pics is against the rules :)

I glued the diaphragm plunger down and filled passages with Seal All adhesive, just left the priming passage open.

a working auto petcock is actually a nice thing... finding one in good working order or overhauling it is no big deal, there are kits to sort them out

so why go back to stone age?

KZ1000-CSR?

Manual fuel valve.
If the bolt hole spacing is 34mm & I'm pretty sure it is on the CSR: KZR topic - Manual fuel valve option

Vacuum petcock.
The typical rebuild parts are listed as Active at Kawasaki.com, so you should be able to get them from the dealer. Or from Z1Enterprises.com. Z1Ent probably also has a K&L rebuild kit... either the complete kit or the diaphragm kit.

A late model Police bike petcock will probably work. And maybe one from a ZG1000 Concours, but I'm not sure about the Connie?

So I was able to seal off the main valve and now I have a manual petcock.
Thanks for all the advice.
