We have an older Vance & Hines 4 in 1 with an exhaust opening that is 36mm.

It will be going on my sons 78 kz650 with a stock air box and I'm guessing that we will have to rejet.

Has anyone had experience with this set up and what changes did you make ?

Thanks,

JD

i honestly think you might be fine where your at... your not changing the air/fuel ratio... problems arise removing the stock air box and going with pod's!!! stock air boxes flow very nicely.. if you'll feel in the air box they actually have built in rubber velocity stacks... assuming the box is designed like the kz900/1000 air box's... just keep an eye on the plug's... your baffle in the header will be keeping ample back pressure on the engine... pipe's will most likely turn colors a bit as they are made of single wall tubing...
