Mostly need bowl and top cover, Z1 where I buy most of my parts seem kinda expensive for these.
Any known reason, any known issues with lower priced brands?
Anyone kmow what happened at Z1 to require new accounts and passwords etc :woohoo:

Assuming stock carbs (VM24), the top gasket is part number 16019-031 and the float bowl gasket is 16019-030. These are still active Kawasaki parts, so the genuine artice is still available. Z1E has the aftermarket top gaskets for $13.50 for a set of 4 and the float bowl gaskets for $14.80 for the set of 4. That’s way cheaper than if you ordered genuine Kawasaki gaskets from any parts dealer, so I suspect it’s about the best price you may find. Ed

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationYes stock (VM24) and yes I found the same original part numbers
Also the same info at Z1

But I can get both for only 15.99 here

I have nothing but praise for Z1, They have always stood behind their parts, even sometimes when they would have been in their right not too.

However at what basically amounts to double the price, and considering it's just gaskets, I'm having a hard time picking Z1 for these item's

Looking for someone to sway me one way or the other

Thanks for your response

The price looks very good, but take a look at that eBay seller's negative feedback. It looks like a number of folks were not happy with the fit/performance of the gaskets and the service. I guess it becomes a matter of whether it's worth the gamble. Ed

my buddy showed me that seller apparently he stamps his own gaskets to the specs he gets or something like that. he hasnt had any issues with him it seem more overseas shipping issues were a factor for most his feed back

Some of the aftermarket top end gaskets are crap. Made out of something like old crushed newspapers. I actually had better luck making my own (from Auto Zone gasket material) after that toad disintegrated.

Well I'd say a 99.8% positive feedback out of 20,405 Transactions, is about as close to 100% as anyone will every come.
There are always those few assholes that you will never please , even if you gave it to them free ;)

I ordered them and will report back concerning material of construction, fit, and function.
The uppers seem like they would be hard to screw up.
Even if I had to buy different bowl gaskets from Z1, I'd still have the same amount of money invested

I got mine out of the mail box last night, and opened them up.

Look just like OEM gaskets and appear to be professionally produced.
They look good to me and I don't anticipate any problems.

The gaskets I got are for a ZZR1200, so ymmd.

Received my gasket set today, definitely made out of high quality material
Workmanship also appears excellent, won't know about fit and function till I tear into them over the weekend, but I don't anticipate any problems
Also fast delivery, ordered them very late last Friday, received in mail today early Thurs

I'll definitely be checking there for my future gasket needs
