1977 KZ 1075 (FBG), 29 Smoothbores V&H Mega

I have 1977 kz 1000 that trying to tun with Carbtune. Have should CG/HM ready on Carbtune when tuning 29smoothbore carbs. By has stock cams with 1075 piston kit? Any help appericated.

Are you asking how many inches of Hg you should be seeing on the meter? With stock cams and everything healthy you should see at least 7" at idle.
Don't worry about what that number is. You want them all as even as possible. If for example you have 3 at 7" and one at 8", drop the 8" cylinder to 7"..... you get the idea??
If they are all over the place when you have the bike idling at 1000RPM, bump the idle to 1500RPM, get them even, then drop to 1000RPM idle and repeat. Put a fan on the engine while you're doing the synch.
The adjusters on the 29's are touchy. It's a feel sort of a deal....

Am addicted to Z1's and kz 900's have an el camino, fly rc helicoptors and am strung out on horsepower.

I have the same set up and at idle I read 9.5 hg At 1500 rpm I get 11.5 to 12. Good luck
