Hello everyone

I want to upgrade my kz650 b1 1977, with a rack of vm26 mikunis.

found a rack on ebay, good price, got them.

stock pipe. pods.

where to start with jets size, needle position, and turns on pilot fuel screws and air screws?

tried some set up but no luck. searched over several forums but only got confused by too many different suggests. some say to screw pilot fuel screws all the way in and play only with air screws. this sounds very strange.

what i found logical but i'm asking confirm is: pods requires larger jets (10% most likely). bigger carbs on smaller engine requires bigger jets than stock because of less total mixture flowing in carbs.

but which is the stock jetting of those mikunis off a gs750?

somewhere i've read 102 and 15.

but the ones off a kz900 have 110 or 115 and 17.5

so where should i start?

thank you all

I'd start with the specs and setup from the KZ900, then fine tune it from there.
