KZ 1000 '79 jetting was created by woodsy
I have just broken the pull rod that activates the accelerator pump, i tried to get a new one but as my bike is a US import (I live in UK) no one has one and the part is obsolete, i have been told that i can do away with the accelerator pump as none of the UK versions had them and upjet the main jets to compensate. I have cable tied the accelerator pump arm out of the way

I am using the stock air box and the jets in there at the moment are 110s

What size should i go up to, to compensate for no accelerator pump, 115s have been suggested ??

any help would be gratefully received

110s are stock on shaft drive ,all the other were smaller.
The main jet size shouldn't be affected.
It would be your pilot and needle.
I would see how it runs as is and if need be raise the needle and/or larger pilot.
