My friends bike and mine are the same and he has his carbs apart. The bike is a 1977 kz900, does that make his carbs those smooth bore carbs? They are the stock carbs from what we can tell.
Watch it folks,i have sticky fingers when it comes to a nice looking set of handle bars:)

those look like 26's as I think I see a gas line going between #3&4 carbs,29's have one gas line feeding all four as does the 28's on later bikes.

FWIW the '76 900 26's were the most trouble free and easiest to tune of any of the stock carbs IMHO.

77-78 were the most trouble, with their fuel needle pilot system, instead of air like the rest.

The stock carbs on a '76 KZ900 are Mikuni 26mm.
