Throttle cable install

Hello everyone. I just bought a 1981 KZ550 LTD a few days ago(currently not running). The previous owner took some parts off including the carburetor to be cleaned. He left the throttle cables connected to the handlebars but I can't figure out how to install them into back into the carburetor. Any responses on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, Nick, and WELCOME to KZr!

Perhaps someone will post a close-up picture of the throttle cable connections at the carb end. It isn't particularly difficult, provided all the parts are there. On the large fours, it's easier to connect the cable ends before the carbs are pushed fully inward directly behind the carbs. Needle nose pliers are handy, along with small end wrenches that fit the small lock nuts.
