After passing on my die hard KZ750 h2, i am now working on a bran fresh KZ305 1982.
It was sitting for the past 10 years, with no gas, so all was clean and nice when i opened it up.
Filled the carbs with gas, flushed the tank hooked up my jumper and bike started, with no questions asked.
Runs nice, revs nice, idles nice - ALL nice - except:
Gas is leaking, or i should say pouring out from the T joint which connects the main fuel line from the tank to the carbs.
Both carb holders are errrr dry and i am reluctant to take them off until i secure a spare set, but is there anything i should do before taking the carbs off and apart? Is there any other place these might be leaking from? It might a stuck needle causing the carbs to flood, but would the overflow leak from that location?
