Going to buy new boots for my Z1R, iit has 29s on it. What boots do I need. Will stock due??
1983 GPZ750
1977 KZ1000LTD
1978 Z1R
1981 GPz1100 KZ1100-B1

If you can find them for a Z1 with 28's they work great.

'79 and '80 1000 A models and the 80 B model LTD also have 28mm carbs so those should work too.

EDIT: '78 and '80 Z1-R's also came stock with 28mm carbs....stock replacement boots should be fine for the 29mm smoothbores.

Ok thanks for answers. I have a set of 26mm boots at home, brand new, was hoping to use them. I will just go ahead and order the proper ones.

The boots for 26mm carbs are the same as 29's. You should be good with the boots you have.

yep...it is the same p.i.t.a. as 26's ..i sometimes sit over the bike tank off and push evenly in on my 29's as they seems to feel like they are not in all the way ,even when they are...but the 73-79 boots will all work,,,,,
