WGCarbs vs MaxiBore Carbs?

Anybody tested the VM30's from WGcarbs against the 30mm carbs MaxiBore offers?
The only difference I see is that MaxiBore offers to open your boots up to increase flow which seems like it might be better.
Also MaxiBore it a little cheaper.

I already have VM30's from WGcarbs and I'm pretty happy with them. My friend is considering the MxaiBore carbs. That's why I ask.

Having had no experience with the maxi-bore carbs Im going to say my chose given my personal experience fixing other peoples stuff. Id say go with the maxi-carbs or an old set of 28s that's been laying on the shelf for 10 years and rebuild them yourself so you know what you have.
This is from my personal experience helping a former member on here from a little town in Missouri who went through 3 sets of the brand w carbs before his bike would run right.
