Has anyone used this throttle on VM type carbs?

Looking to use this with Kz1000 VM28 carbs: www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/partno/01-0058/



I'm wondering if the stock cables would work with it - they look the same as what Motion Pro shows but I don't know if the threads are different/etc.

Anyone who has actually used it - I would appreciate any feedback.

Also finding people reporting that older Honda throttle cables attach to it properly. Did Honda use the same threading on their cables as Kawasaki?

Ive used single cable dirt bike style throttles even though they say you shouldn't,dont remember exact motion pro number though.

If anyone cares, it has two different sized threads. The push cable appears to be the same thread type as the cables on my Kz650, but the pull is a larger diameter. This throttle will require custom cables from Motion Pro.

Wish they would list this kind of crap in the product information. Oh well, it was worth a shot for $15.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI bought this guy from ebay. My KZ750E uses a single throttle cable. This new piece is designed to work with single or dual cables though. Looks good too!

Does your stock cable thread into this? Thanks. Looking for one for my KZ 1000. I only use the single cable anyhow.
