zr7 carbs to kz750

Hi guys!

I have recently seen a post at kz650.info about installing a set of keihin cvk32 from a kawasaki zr7 into a kz650. Great work by the way.

Should I spect any improvement by installing this carbs into my kz750? I have stock keihin cv34, but it is getting difficult to fin new spare parts...

The head spacing is the same on your 750 as the 650 so yes it should work.

Would this result in any performance improvements?

Yes, I should use ZR7 boots too....inside carb distance is not the same.

I doubt you gain much improvement in performance due to the carbs are basicly the same design. The ZR7 carbs have a flatslide Vrs the round slide so low end performance might be improved but I would not expect anything spectacular from them.

OK, I think I will stay with my old Keihins then. Thanks baldy110.
