Help finding the problem was created by Gorkain
Alright guys I finally decided to get some personalized help before before the sledgehammer looks any nicer.I got a completely stock, nonrunning KZ750 H LTD -idk the year- that sat for 25 years in mediocre conditions. From the start the carbs (Keihin CV34) have been a pain -take them off,fix problem, put them on,new F#%*ing problem, take back off- ,and replacing the Ignition Coils.

Now after everything it will finally start with very little effort ,but which cylinders fire is a crap shoot.#1 will only fire immediately after cleaning the carbs any other time and the exhaust won't even get warm -plug looks almost white-.#2 and #3 seem to be doing alright albeit #3 runs quite a bit hotter than the others -#2's plug is a nice tan while #3 is slightly darker tan-.#4 usually fires although not as good as #2,#3 -plug is black and sooty so-.

Sorry if this a mess, missing info ,but if anything is needed just ask.I'm just so f#%&ing of these carbs and hurting my novice mechanic brain  .Thanks for any help.

Once carbs are cleaned, should never allow any fuel into the carbs unless the fuel first goes through an aftermarket in-line filter.

Otherwise, the carbs are immediately re-contaminated and again need cleaning.

A popular type of in-line filter:
