Vm26 carbs for my kz700 was created by Revboyz
Does anyone know besides the bs34 carbs. What else would fit my kz700. Would the vm26 carbs fit?
Thanks
Kevin

Yes, but you would have to change out the manifolds for KZ900 or KZ1000 one's.

Another option is VM24s - might be more readily available & maybe cheaper.
Here's a comment about putting VM24s & the carb holders on a 750 - he is very knowledgeable:
(note: the 1980 & earlier 650 airbox ducts won't fit the 700/750 airbox & the 81 650 ducts are NLA).
(w different carbs, you may need to get a matching throttle grip).

By elr658: (putting VM24s on a 750). The bolt hole location IS the same, those carbs will go on the 750 motor with 650 intake manifolds. I'm doing the exact thing to my 750LTD.
I'm not absolutely sure if the airbox boots ON THE AIRBOX end are the same between 650 and 750, but luckily I have both Gabe's KZ650 and my 750 in the shop and I will be able to report next week.
You will have to run a KZ650 right switch housing with 2 throttle cables. My bikes a 1980, so I only needed cables.
If I run into airbox issues, K&Ns here I come. Then jetting becomes a small issue. The plan is 650 carbs and 650 manifolds and airbox boots on the 750 airbox.
As far as jetting, the leader of the banned (A2 Rider and Zedx11) say the KZ650 jetting works well with an increase of pilot screw. I think she's running a MAC and pods. Her jetting was compensated for those items on the 650 engine. It is not stock jetting.
