1st time I disassembled my carbs. All went well until reassembly and the slides were binding. It turns out somebody over tightned the air bleed tubes (they hold the main jet) I warped one of em so the needle wont go into it. I got one off of ebay but it is very close but it only has half of the hoes drilled into the side of it. Maybe drill the holes?? How tight should the tubes be?

Any ideas? The 1970 kz1000st canada version seems to be an odd duck. No accelerator pump.

Not sure how you damaged it. But the Holes are quite Important. Look on your old one, and see if there is a letter and number for the size. maybe one can be found for you. You want the correct one, unless you change all of them and then re-tune the needles as well.
