VM24 carbs on KZ750E motor?

Greetings. I have a KZ750E motor that I have put inside a KZ650B1 frame. I am about to clean the carbs that I have. (Mikuni VM24) I just want to make sure that they will be sufficient for the kz750 motor with a GPZ750 4/1 exhaust. I have a complete set, and a partial set for parts, so if possible I'd like to use them.

I know the kz750E motor uses larger CV carbs, but has anyone successfully used these VM carbs? I did a search, but came up short.

I believe elr658 over at the KawasakiMotorcycle.org site put VM24s on his 750-Ltd-4 which has basically the same engine as the 750E.
