Does anyone know if it is possible to slip a yoshimura can onto the stock 4 into 1 pipes on my 81 kz 750? If so, what is the product number that will fit and would I have to re-jet? Any insight would be much appreciated. ;) Cheers!

yes and no, i have swapped cans on lots of bikes, youll need to measure the pipe outside diameter and match it to the cans inlet inside diameter to be clean, then make your own bracket, so with a saw, decent midpipe ,can and some ingenuity maybe some band clamps yes. direct bolt on, no.

1981 KZ750-H2 came stock with 4 into 2 pipes.
1980 KZ750-H1 (slightly altered)
1987 KZ1000-P6 "Ponch"
1979 GS1000 "Dadzuki"

I'm currently running a set of 4-1 pipes off a 2001 Kawi Z750 with a Yosh pipe on it on my 650. Like lushbaugh said, you'll have to make up mounting brackets and cut/adapt things to work. Make sure you measure all your outter diameters up for a starting point. Even after that, you'll need some high-temp silicone or muffler cement to seal everything up. It gives a really throaty growl :woohoo:
