Will 83 KZ750 LTD carbs work on an 80 KZ750 E?

Both are Keihin CV34's, different models
I know that the number of jets are different. The carbs from the LTD have only a single jet, where the E model has a primary and secondary jet (for quarter throttle control).
May not run as well but would they work if jetted the LTD carbs?

I think all of the 750-4 airboxes are pretty much the same. Some had a paper filter, but the later ones had a foam filter that requires oiling. Not sure how much of a difference that makes for carb adjustments.

My kz750 h1 occasionally gets a stuck slide, and when it breaks free it is good to have my hand near the clutch.
The main issue you need to deal with is finding a throttle cable and the measurements of the carburetors for the carburetor holders. :woohoo:
