Last set I put on a 1075 J motor required richer needles. It got an 88CFM street head and GPz11 cams. The plugs would not color up. I ordered the richer needles from Fox Distributing.

I also have little color on plugs...I am not at 88cfm I would guess 80cfm....it really liked the needle raised one from center stock position...could raise one more only then maxed. You think 125 mains are enough Larry. Also is running very rich at idle....can smell exhaust is rich.

Fuel screws can be pretty touchy on them. A little turn is a lot of change. Close them, then open in 1/8 turn and go in small increments gradually. Ride the bike in first gear at 1000 RPM, try to hold steady there, then 1500, then 2000. Adjust pilot screws until it's as smooth as you can make it.

Not sure about 125 mains...to big or little. Anybody running a RS34 engine who would share a setup or advice.
