wondering if carbs from a 82 kz750ltd fit on my 83 750 spectre.i know the jets are bigger in the 750ltd carbs,but that's all i know about them

1983 750 spectre,all stock almost 16,000 on it on 1980 Suzuki gs1000l

Would imagine that should be a relatively simple swap. Same engine, so the spacing and all is the same. As far as I know the cams and such are all the same too. So I can't see why they wouldn't work.

Kiehin and Mikuni carb boots are different.
I know the Ltd carbs will be Kiehin and the Spectre should be also,only painted black.

Yea, Spectres are Keihins.

Still curious about the jetting change, woulda thought being the same carbs they'd be the same. Maybe a change for the exhausts if they're different or some such.

Anyone know if they're the same diameter keihins? Can measure mine when I get home if needed. I would think they're the same, just trying to think through reasons for the jet change. If they're the same carb, you can always just swap jets around if needed.

The carburetor holders & airbox ducts are the same, so the carbs are probably a direct swap.
