hi ZEDsperts!

just fitted a V&H sidewinder header and pipe with baffle to my new-to-me '79 KZ1000 ltd. The carbs are now running lean especially off idle. Can anyone help me with a good starting point for jetting>

currently it has 117 main jet and 17 for idle.
a couple of pics showing my home-made extension to bring the tail pipe up and closer to the frame...
