don't know what kind of bike you have but one for each carb is usually what is needed.

Including information about bike year and model is helpful to viewers and usually elicits better responses.
It's easy to put the information in your signature where it shows in all posted messages, past and future.
And may be changed whenever and as often as desired.
If wanting a signature showing information about the bike in posted messages, it's easy to do. Here's how:

The 1978 KZ650 has relatively simple manual slide carbs that are often restorable to serviceable condition
without needing any new parts.
The float bowl gaskets and top cap gaskets may be re-useable.
Removing and replacing the carbs is a challenge where the rubber air box hoses have become hard and inflexible over the years. New soft pliable hoses are available and reasonably priced, which make removal and replacement almost fun.

Hoses and gaskets and other carb parts are listed at Z1 Enterprises, and shipped quickly.

Good Fortune! :)

Z1 Enterprises, hard to go wrong, right pieces, good prices and good support.

The following was not an advertisement for Z1 Enterprises, unless I can gett a free coffee cup or a t shirt

77 KZ1000A1 - Under going a psuedo ELR overhaul
79 KE175 (gone)
81 KZ550A2 (gone)
81 KZ750E (gone)

Sure it looks OK now, but wait until I really make it pretty, with some chrome and paint and some new tires and grips and the wiring. Don't forget the gearing, and the LED's and, and, and....
