I now think my carb leakage is really a float and seat issue so new ones will be ordered. This did give me the chance to examine the guts of my carbs. I set them up for 4 into 1 pipes and K+N's many years ago, and apparently settled on 127.5 mains.
The carbs are VM28SC's with the side drain screws and the single throttle spring. One of the 17.5 pilots is damaged so new ones there also.
What mains would the group here suggest? It runs a bit rich, and research tells me the 127.5's may be too large by a little bit.
What clip position also?
I am running a Vance and Hines 4 into 1 and K+N filter pods. Dyna S ignition, Dyna 3 ohm coils.
