81 Kz750LT (n2) runs very erratic on cold start.

Of course I did, 2 actually.

Bikes running better now. I can't take it out because I am stuck watching the kids but tomorrow I will go for a cruise.
It started and runs on half choke now. Idles warm at 1250 with the choke off... for the time being. so it should ideally be in good running shape. All the spark plugs were clean but their age shows. They are all uniform. light layer of grey build up on them.

I took the bike out and rode for a few 20 minute trips yesterday and today. It runs fine for the majority of the time. Every now and then it cuts out on a couple of cylinders for a couple seconds. but it is extremely intermittent It's happened maybe 2 times in the last 5 trips I've made on it. I need to look for a short and replace the spark plugs. otherwise I will replace the weaker ignition coil.
