vm26 carbs ....why is there no dry float height info anywhere ???????????????? i know about the clear tube trick- but there has to be a base height to start from ..JFC !!!!!!!!

Are you sure your carbs are VM26? 1977 KZ650 models (both B1 and C1) originally came with VM24SS carbs. Ed

OK for the vm24ss carbs the design fuel level is 30 +/- 1 mm. The clear tube level is 3.5 +/- mm.
