After looking at my carbs again, I decided to only replace all the float assemblies because I know I have at least two bad float pins. I'll hold off on complete carb build for now.
When you replace the float valve seats and needles, you will need to reset the float heights. The aftermarket needles are slightly longer. Here's a page on how to set it in the ballpark, then you can double check them with the clear-tube method.
