They have they square box on the side but still don"t know is that true the box is the identifier

Agree they do appear to be vm29ss carbs. There should be an ID stamped on them - look at the flange just below the choke lever, or on the opposite side of the carbs in the same location.
Should be an ID like this

They were on the bike when I got it they have 125 main jets in them plugs a little dark going to bring main size down a little. Runs good as is but i plan on riding as much as possible don't want to foul a plug on the rode. As for 28mm my bad i meant 29mm

Those are not 29's look at the bottom of the float bowl those have a round drain plug mounted on the side, 29's have a 17mm hex drain plug on the bottom. Those also have an acclerator pump, 29's did not have an accelrator pump. I would say you have a set of VM26's or VM28's.

These carbs don't have accelerator pumps where did you get that from

I had 29's and had the center nut no side screw...have seen several different styles of float bowls

Agree with wireman some of the 29s do have the large 17mm bolt / drain on the bottom and others (the very early ones) have the smaller angled drain screw. See attached.

Yes Ive had 29s with pumps on them,its just an accesary part for them. B)
