Leaking Carb Bowl was created by lowkeyfilmz
Fellow KZ riders thanks for all the posts that have helped me wrench my way off the side of the rode.

I have a leaking overflow nipple on carb 3.

I have checked all the usual suspects, floats, needles, drain plug?

I have swapped known working #1 bowl and float assembly with #3 and still leaky leaky :(

I have them off and filling from a bottle so I know it's comming out of the nipple.

There is a plastic cap inside that used to fall out so I heated it up and squished it to make a better seal on all the carbs. A little of the brass on the inner assembly is chipped off. (On #1 and #3)

Diaphram is good?

Any ideas?

What bike/engine and what carbs ?
In general there's only maybe 2 things which can cause the leak you describe. One would be a cracked overflow tube but as you swapped with a bowl from another carb and still had the leak then that would seem to rule out the overflow tube.
That just leaves the float needle/valve and seat. I would suggest you take a cotton Q tip soaked in carb cleaner or even Brasso and run it around the seat and realy clean it off.
Examine the float valve/needle tip for ridges and clean.
Or swap the float needle/valve with one from a non leaking carb. Depending on what carbs you have some brass valve seats can also be removed and swapped. Wont fix the problem but should pinpoint the solution
God luck

I completely dissasembled and cleaned said carb.

I pushed the needle inthe middle down and up and soaked in seafoam.

Switch out the bowl and whala!

She no longer leaks gas.

I was dangerously close to running the overflow tube on the ground and doing my part to stimulate the turbulent economic climate one gallon at a time!

Put carbs back on and hooked up fuel line and wham fuel everywhere.

I ordered a rebuild kit so we shall go in that direction.
