More tips regarding clear tube testing --

The "special tool" isn't critical. And it's okay to just "self-thread" the clear hose snugly into the drain screw hole.
Also, a single screw is usually all that's required to hold the float bowl in position during the tang adjusting and bowl r&r's
Minimal leakage past bowl gasket and/or at the tube connection won't invalidate the test results (as fuel volume entering the bowl exceeds any leakage).

Good Fortune! :)

ok took carbs aparts cleaned all the passageways like suggested, pilot was clogged on one, and floats where way off, after adjusting floats as suggested. she starts right up know, and idles fine, but now bogs down when the carbs are wide open, just running open headers, jetting maybe?

If the jets are stock then you can definitely make it smoother with some proper jetting.
Keep it together man!

problem solved, did have floats way off, even after i adjusted them got to looking at the pic in didnt use the back of the bowl to measure. so re adjusted, n still ran like shit wide open, so checked the plugs, number two had a bad connection, and somehow amongst all the confusion i put a b7 in number one, re-re!
so made sure everything was the same n all the gapes right, n she runs better than she ever had. thanks guys for all the help
