well got my petcock last night and it doesnt fit. ordered it from brown family racing off of ebay. part description said it fits a 650 up to 1000 csr. not mine. my tank has a 44mm spacing not 34mm.

Well bought the bullet and bought a Pingel petcock from z1 Enterprises. Needed the adapter plate. Hopefully I wont be disappointed. I even paid nthe extra for overnight. Getting antsy.

changed petcock. wow is the pingle nice. PROBLEM! bike is acting like it has a vacuum leak! i have plugged every vacuum port. cleared vent for tank. isolated the clean air system. cant get rid of it. didnt have it before. help is needed :sick:

it will jump andhang on its own. hit the throttl and it will settle

Maybe insufficient slack in throttle cables.
Maybe a hanging timing advancer.

I think i found the problem! I hope this does it. i running out of patients. Bike has been running great all spring. Just hit a wall. Do you think these are repairable?
