Kevin I ended up with the 17.5 pilot and 117.5 mains
and the 0-6 needle jet.

I think next time at the track I'm going do run
some 120 mains as I think it's laying down a little in the lights
and not pulling the MPH I think it should.

1980 KZ650 F1
ZX750A1 motor.
Wiseco 810cc kit.
Zukiworks racing ported head.
VM 29 smooth bore's.
Dyna 2000 Ign. w/Dyna mini coil's
APE cylinder stud's and nut's.
APE valve spring's.
APE Track King clutch.
V/H KZ1000 sidewinder.
3.5x18 laced to a KZ1000 disk hub.
150/60/18 Shinko 006 Podium.
63" wheel base.

I got some b7es and they are cleaner after hundreds of miles. probably due to the higher heat range.

The thing you don't have is a set of VM29 smooth bore carb's
so come back when you know what you're talking about.

what is the point in 29 mm carbs with a head that is designed for 36 mm carbs?
