Mr. Mention - I clicked on your thread titled "choke slide question" and read the question but then the thread continued to "load" and didn't load right. I can now, not get anything to display regarding this thread. Please start a new thread...
In any case, to answer your question, the round slide Tekei carbs have choke plates that are mechanically actuated and have little flaps. The little flaps routinely fall off. I am not sure how critical these are but others have replaced them in the past from donor carbs. Those flaps seem to fall off easily.
