Looks good! I did the same to my tops and bowls but they don't seem to last. I learned from a site that sells aluminum polish not to use any silicone based waxes on aluminum because it will dull the shine. They recommend a bees wax of some sort to keep them protected and shiny. Haven't tried the clear only because I am leery about the clear yellowing with the sun and the heat from the engine. I still may try it and even have purchased a hi temp engine clear.

Looks good, what kind of polish did you use. I've been using Wenol on my cases and rims and can't seem to remove some of the deeper discoloration from them, it's really bugging me.
