This also happened to me when I got my first 650 b-1, and when I priced them. I almost fell out of my chair! after the gas hit them they swelled up and never leaked again. just lucky for me I guess. Hope its the same for you! My petcock also leaked and the same thing occurred, Leaked for about a day then never agian.

Hey guys...just a little something I learned years ago. If you are a green freak, please don't read. I do a lot of carbs and run into this issue with virtually every set, new and old, especially with this new fuel blend. Try this next time you have your carbs apart. Take your tees and cover them in a small container with acetone. Leave them there for no more than 10 minutes and remove. Longer and they'll swell 2 time their size! Air dry, and believe it or not, they will retain the larger size and provide the fit we are looking for. Old school acetone/xylene go cart trick I learned back in the dat. Give 'er a goose!
