hi kzr's
greetings from the uk!
is it recommended to attached a inline fuel filter, as well as the internal tank filter?
when i bought my kz. there was an inline filter attached.
what size fuel pipe is recommended, neoprene, or clear plastic or rubber braided?
many thanks for your help and advice!
regards

Hi Angel,
Definitely want an in-line fuel filter. When I rebuilt my H3, I used 3/8 inch hose, but had to use hose clamps to seal it. I switched to 1/4 inch and was able to get away from the hose clamps and it ran fine.
I'm afraid I'm not an expert on fuel line material types. Mine's a bluish opaque line that I get from my mechanic. Hopefully someone else can help you on that.

As long as you have verified that the tank filter is indeed in good shape then I would say no you would not need an inline filter. These bikes are old and the tank filters are either ripped or taken off by a previous owner so when you get the bike you really do not know. If unknown then run an inline filter. I run 3/8 black fuel line hose.
