Float Bowl Leak -- Gaskets? was created by tbaumga2
On my 84 Gpz550, the left-most float bowl is leaking gas out of top of the bowl, where the top bolts on. (sorry for no pics, i've got it in storage at the moment).
Could this be a bad gasket? If so, does each bowl have its own gasket, or is there a single piece that covers all of the bowls? Where would one go to even get a new one?
Sorry for the n00b questions, just inherited the bike from my brother a few weeks ago.

O'ring Part No. 92055-1128 shows still "active" at kawasaki.com which means it should be currently available through Kawasaki dealerships.
Lots of good info on kawasaki.com, including parts diagrams, part names, part numbers, models sharing same part, availability, etc. Here's a link for help with navigating the site and finding information.

This may sound a bit simplistic, but have you tried tightening the screws?

If you think you just need new O-rings on the carb bowls, then here you go:
www.z1enterprises.com/Carb-Float-Bowl-Or...Z550-ZX550-2549.aspx
If you want rebuild kits Z1 will have those as well.
Either way make sure you get the fuel level in each carb set correctly, and I would clean out the jets and circuits while there. Remove the carb rack and do this all on the work bench.
A can of spray carb cleaner and an air compressor, some 12" sections of clear tubing to connect to the float bowl drain for the fuel level testing. Look for the procedure in your manual, or Patton has a great tutorial on it.
