1975 Z1B choke lever was created by luc
the 1975 has the choke lever bolted the the end of the shaft instead of welded.
there is a special locking washer that go between the nut and the shaft lever.
Any idea what the part # for it is?

Cant find a part number for it. But I do know its only a washer with the end bent too lock the nut in place. So shouldnt be hard to make one. And you wont see it anyhow.

Thanks Peter, I can't find a partbook/microfiche that show the separate lever either.
The washer has to be a little more complicated since the en of the shaft is not round but rather rectangular with threads only on the narrow sides to take a 6mm nut.
still would like to find the part #

You may want to contact the folks at:
www.aloh.co.uk/carbs/index.asp
They seem to know a LOT about Z1 carbs and may be able to give you a part number or a source fo rthe part you're looking for. Here's a clip from their site, notice line 6. Also, below that is a pic from their site; does the carb set on the right have the lever like yours? Ed
