Hi Guys
I recently bought a non running barnfresh KZ1000 mk2 with a set of 29mm Mikunis fitted.I took them apart, washed them in the ultrasonic bath and was putting them back together when I discovered the number 4 carb had a 17.5 pilot instead of the 15s found in the rest.Is this normal? I have a Clymer manual and it alludes to the fact either are used but is not specific,I would have assumed they would be the same across all 4.The manual also says the carb size for this model is a 26mm Mikuni...any ideas would be very welcome...
it has a set of Taylor leads,4-1 pipe,Marzocci piggybacks. The plan is to see if it runs and then have a look inside the motor!
thanks
mick

What he said. the MK11 didn't come out till 79 with the 28's. Make sure you have what you have. Check the vin and go from there.
