They fit right on, but you should use the zx1100 or other injectors.

I have a couple of Turbo throttle bodies if you want one.

Oh yeah, I suggest MegaSquirt EFI controller

So you suggest the Turbo bodies, ZX11 injectors and 'Squirt controller...have you done it? I would LOVE to get away from the carbs right now

my carbs on my 85 were FUBAR from the PO and I'm about to toss the entire lot in the bin and start over. DFI came to mind if for no other reason than I'd be able to what seems to be a more straightforward thing (FI) even though the electronics and pumps, etc, add to the complexity elsewhere.

Who knows? maybe I get the carbs to work right this weekend and my problems vanish! Also, monkeys have a non-zero chance of erupting out of my butt. ;)

From what i can gather the whole kit/kaboodle will run close to $1k, including tuning aids. Does that seem in the ballpark?

you, sir, have a valid point. ;)

OTOH, i have a GPz750 in the garage, paid for, and (sigh) I guess I'll just continue to plug through the carbs. :pinch:

Reported gains on EFI conversions are usually in the 10% range, both hp and economy.

Carbs are correctly tuned at one specific set of data points (ambient temp, barometric pressure, etc).

EFI is correctly tuned everywhere, it adapts to changes.

$600 in converting my zx11 to EFI, not as much to convert my 750 twin (next project).

Kripes Steell, your avatar is distracting

So what I can see I'd need for an aircooled install is

the controller,
ZX750e throttle bodies/rails
a device that would read throttle position,
probably a sensor for intake temp (there's not one on the throttle bodies as they come, i take it)
An exhaust or o2 sensor
a fuel pump and the means to route fuel bypassed by the pump/EFI back to teh tank or to a reservoir.

what else am I missing? would the injectors from the turbo work or do I need another option that O have to adapt to fit?
