Aesthetically, I really don't like the airbox.

You could have some vinyl stickers made up. Fake chrome covers, maybe?

Painting it to match the bike is an option also. Don't think I've ever seen one painted up, so it might look kinds cool :)

I have the answer! Have porchev914 make one or covers for one from carbon fiber. Now that would look cool on a custom bike. Ed

There are velocity stacks as well. I don't know much about them personally, but I believe some of our members run them. There may be other options as well :)

There are mixed results with velocity stacks. I'd say stay away from them unless you're just building a track bike. For the most part they don't include a great amount of filtration and can allow more dust/dirt particles to first be sucked into the carbs (causing them to get dirty and malfunction) and dust can make it through to the cylinder where after awhile it'll start to score your cylinders

SEE! I knew someone would know a little about those things! :)

Yeah man, if he makes a carbon airbox, it'll be game over. I'd pay a pretty premium for one of those!

Well there ya go Adam! You've sold three without ANY marketing or advertising. I'd prefer mine in the natural carbon (black) color. ;)
